RACE NIGHT REQUIREMENTS:

LDCC has the right to change, add, delete, or modify in any way any of these rules. Officials, Officers and Competition
Committee, by majority vote, have the authority to disqualify any entry they believe has violated either the spirit or the intent
of the rules.  Although changes throughout the year are to be minimized a quorum is established with simple majority of
eligible members.  A 2/3 majority vote of quorum is required to pass rule changes.  A simple majority is required to vote on
race night issues.

GENERAL RULES
Voting for Officers and Competition Committee members will be held at the end of each race season. An owner/driver will
receive one vote for the car he/she registers and drives. If an owner/driver registers more than one car he/she will not
receive multiple votes. An eligible driver who has paid the drivers fees will receive a vote upon completion of competing in
75% of the schedule races.
Secret ballots will be sent out to registered owners and eligible drivers at the end of the racing season. Ballots will need to
be returned in the envelope provided with your address in the upper left to confirm your eligibility; by mid November the
deadline date will be posted on the forum. Secondary method is to email the President of the LDCC with your selection. The
email address will be removed once eligibility is established.

regulation enforcement at LDCC events. At the discretion of track official(s) in charge, a competitor may be disqualified for
rule violations, hazardous equipment, or hazardous actions.
4.      All LDCC vehicles subject to inspection at any time.
5.      Approval of a Dwarf Car by the Tech inspector shall mean only that the vehicle is approved for participation in a
competitive event and shall not be construed in any way to mean that the inspected vehicle is guaranteed mechanically
sound. Be it further declared that the inspector shall not be liable, nor shall the Sanctioning Body, neither for any mechanical
failure nor for any losses, injuries or death resulting from same.

2nd infraction = loss of 75 points + 1 (points) race suspension
3rd infraction = loss of 100 points + 2 (points) race suspension
32.  Disqualification means that the car and driver will forfeit all points, money, trophy and contingencies for the race night.
Additionally, these races cannot be used as throwout races. Disqualification may be accompanied by an unsportsmanlike
penalty at the discretion of the Competition Committee.

races shall consist of no less than 8 cars.

MAIN EVENT
36.  Half of the field of qualifiers from 3 heat races using season point average will be inverted. If there are 4 heat races, then
the top 16 qualifiers using season point’s average will be inverted. If there are two heat races, then the top 10 qualifiers

driver with no point average or a rookie earns a transfer spot the driver will tag the inverted field.  Those rookies tagging the
field shall be positioned in the lineup based on heat finishing order.
39.  Maximum cars in main event are twenty-four cars, unless the track or Competition Committee rules otherwise.
TECH INSPECTION
40.  The top five (5) finishers in the Main Event must go to the tech area/scales. Common sense will be applied to a time limit.
The tech inspector may disqualify any car for not meeting the LDCC requirements. Any disqualification must be clarified by the
Competition Committee.
41.  If Illegal parts or rule infractions that give a clear competitive advantage are found at any time during race night, the car

will be placed with the two inch side vertically and the one inch side horizontal for their entire length. Right and left frame
rails may be cut out and dropped a maximum of two inches under the rear axle to provide vertical clearance for the rear
axles. This cutout must be no longer than necessary to provide clearance. This cutout will not violate the rules governing the
height of the body or the overall height of the car. The same frame rails may also be looped up and over the rear axles but
must conform to the overall length and size requirements. No round, oval, or square tubing in lower side main frame rails.
There will be a minimum of three cross members in the manned compartment; one at the forward end, one at the rear, and

interest of keeping an affordable and competitive racing association, the following engines will be illegal; Kawasaki ZX1200,
Yamaha YZF R1, Honda CBR1100XX Blackbird, Suzuki GSXR1000, and the Kawasaki ZZR1200.
87.  Engine must have all parts operational such as the transmission and clutch. Charging system may be modified or

either side of car body centerline. The square of the engine cannot extend to the rear of the front axle line more than 17".
The square or the engine is normally determined by but not limited to the cylinder fins and the main crankcase.
90.  Engines must be self-starting by manufacture's intent.
91.  No engine/transmission assembly may extend to rear more than 17", except separate transmission, where transmission
may be mounted in place of jackshaft (i.e. a Harley) from the front axle line. Engine rear will be determined by the imaginary
square of the engine, usually stock cylinder fins for the sides, tappet cover seam for the front, rear of the transmission case
for the back. Bolt heads, dowel abutments, transmission drive flanges; alternator cases, point covers and other such
protrusions will not serve as measure point. Front axle location will be determined by scaling photograph of car to 73"
wheelbase and mounting front axle in actual proportion to car body.

HEADER & MUFFLER REQUIREMENTS

electrical lines in the car must be isolated from rotating parts or fuel lines.

FUEL REQUIREMENTS

performance additives. No nitrous oxide. Octane boost allowed for stock fuel.

FUEL CELL REQUIREMENTS
99.  Fuel tank must be of metal construction or an approved fuel cell not to exceed 5-gallon capacity. We recommend a fuel
cell, as the tracks will soon be demanding one for insurance reasons. Non-fuel leaking cap is required. No pressurized fuel
tank. Electric or mechanical fuel pumps only. Tank must be vented in such a manner as to not leak fuel in any position. Fuel
tank filler necks may not extend beyond either side of bodyline and must be mounted behind driver, meaning behind the
driver’s compartment and inside the outer frame and cage structure. There must be a complete firewall between the driver
and fuel tank. We recommend fuel cell safety foam.
