Dano and his step-son Trey started racing with LSDCC in 2005.
After Trey’s death in 2007, Dano wasn’t quite sure he wanted to
continue racing without Trey as they started out doing this
together. Luckily LSDCC members convinced him to stay. Dano
not only stayed but became a big part of LSDCC. He has been
the Treasurer for the last 3 years and has done many things for
the club including but not limited to his treasury position. Dano
has taken care of our website, forum, trophy’s, memorial
stickers, ribbons, points and has been the MC at our banquets.
He was a bigger part of LSDCC than many people realized. He
loved being a part of LSDCC but not only as a racer. Dano finally
got his first heat win with the club just a couple of weeks ago
and you would have thought he just won the Daytona 500. Dano
was loved by many and will be remembered by many for years to
come.
